PATIENT 22 – Liposuction
34 year old woman, 5’1” tall, weight 130 pounds dissatisfied with the appearance of her saddlebags (hips), buttocks, upper hips, and medial thighs which had been refractory to diet and exercise. Examination showed mild-moderate thigh and buttock lipodystrophy with minimal skin laxity. Two month post-operative photographs showing the results of power-assisted ‘superwet’ technique liposuction of the abdomen and flanks. More than 325cc of fat was aspirated from each saddlebag/hip area; more than 250cc fat was aspirated from each iliac crest/upper hip; more than 100cc of fat was aspirated from each buttock, and 50cc of fat was aspirated from each inner thigh.
